As Clara finishes with Starting Point at the end of October, we wanted to make sure everyone knows who to contact and how things will work from November.
Clara has been absolutely amazing and will be hugely missed by all of us. She’s put so much into supporting our volunteers and making things run smoothly, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s done. As with any change, there will inevitably be a few bumps along the way while we settle into new ways of working. Please bear with us, and if you have any suggestions about how we can make things work better, I’d really welcome hearing them. nicola@startpoint.org.uk
As the lottery project comes to an end, Clara’s responsibilities will be shared across the team, rather than being taken on by one person.
Library Volunteers
Elizabeth will be joining the team at the beginning of November and will be your main point of contact for library sessions. Elizabeth is a former Digital Champion, so she already knows Starting Point well!
You can contact her using Clara’s existing phone number, 07874 042365, or by emailing elizabeth.bagwell@startpoint.org.uk.
Volunteers at Other Sessions
Your main contact will be the staff member responsible for your session’s WhatsApp group and rota. You probably already know who this is, but they will send a message at the beginning of November to confirm their contact details.
They tend to be Chloe: chloe@startpoint.org.uk or Claire: claire@startpoint.org.uk
Lunch & Learn Sessions & Training
Mike will be taking responsibility for hosting our Lunch & Learn sessions and any volunteer training. Email: mike@startpoint.org.uk Phone: 07526 131456
General Questions
For anything else, please email hello@startpoint.org.uk.
Urgent Safeguarding Concerns
Please contact Nicola directly: Email: nicola@startpoint.org.uk Phone: 0777 333 0840
We know Clara has been a familiar point of contact for many of you, and we want to make this transition as straightforward as possible. Thank you for your continued support and everything you do for Starting Point!
