What a fantastic year we had in 2015, we had 800 attendees over the year who were supported to use technology by our Digital Heroes.
This year appears to be just as busy – we have already helped 43 new learners get online!
Our new sessions include Cheadle Library on Thursday mornings from 10-12 and Lancashire Hill’s Learner Lounge on Friday mornings from 10-12 where our Digital Heroes are supporting refugees to use Learn my Way.
We have also made a few changes to our sessions at Startpoint in Woodley, including decorating our office and making it into a meeting space and room for staff and volunteers. This year we have decided to use the training room above Taylor’s Fish and Chips for our digital sessions, whilst keeping the learning space within the coffee shop. This gives us more space for more learners!
